Six Voler Athletes Selected for Life Time GP

The Life Time Grand Prix returns for a second year, featuring the best off-road racers in North America competing on epic gravel and mountain bike tracks from coast to coast. We’re psyched to support six of the athletes selected for seven race series including Hannah Otto, Payson McElveen, Paige Onweller, John Borstelmann, Emma Grant, and Nathan Spratt. These Six will be competing for the combined quarter-million-dollar prize purse, split equally between the men and the women.

The last season saw some exceptional performances at the LTGP from our family of athletes, most notably wins at Big Sugar Gravel by Paige Onweller and the Leadville Trail 100 by Hannah Otto. Their rides inspired us all, left these two hungry for more, and helped them snag a combined 16,000 dollars in overall prize money last year.

In fact, after Paige’s breakout victory in Arkansas at the LTGP final, she made the decision to take a break from her career as an emergency room physician’s assistant, and focus on racing full time. She’s been here on the Central Coast since the beginning of the year, training and prepping to go even bigger in 2023.

Hannah’s win at Leadville was one for the ages and it’s only fitting that someone with her MTB chops and passion, should win one of the most legendary races in North American MTB history.

Despite injuries and mechanicals that hampered much of Payson’s 2022 campaign, our favorite Texan still managed to pull off some stellar rides with a pair of fourth place finishes at Crusher in the Tushar and Chequamegon MTB festival. Never one to wallow, we know Payson’s taken the challenges of last year, and turned it into rocket fuel for the upcoming season.

The LTGP racing kicks off at the Sea Otter Classic with the Fuego XL 100 km MTB race on April 22nd. We’ll be on the ground at Laguna Seca supporting these six riders taking on the LTGP along with all our athletes competing.
